H pipe question

I was wondering if you guys thought that my exhaust would benefit from an H pipe. The exhuast is a dual inlet/ dual outlet flowmaster, so its not a true dual exhaust system. Also, my dad owns an exhaust shop so i can pretty much get it done for nothing. Let me know what u guys think. thanks

If it's not an actual dual exhaust from the headers/manifolds, there's 0 point to it.

H or X pipe is added as close as can be to the outlets of the headers between the 2 individual pipes running to the rear(there's a more scientific approach but, for general applications, close is good enough). Also added before the mufflers (in applications where the mufflers can be mounted closer to the headers).
