joining both pieces of y-pipe?

on the SLP headers, how did you guys join the 2 piece y-pipe together? did you have them welded of used something else? If you used a different way of joining them other than welding did they hold? not leak!

pics would be great!.....

thanx

i used the clamp they gave me, exhaust leaks whats that.

i cant really tell any big ones, cant really hear any kind of leaks. but i hate the regular kind of clamps i should of bought band clamps for everything.

i tired to pull my muffler off on my slp catback wouldnt come off. probably need to heat it up.

I just slipped mine together. No leaks when I first put them in, and I've removed the y-pipe once or twice since, and still no leaks. Welding might not be a bad idea, but makes starter access more time consuming.
