The Y-pipe for the headers numbered 68470 (hedman) I think I'll be needing. I have the headers already in the car, and we were gonna fabricate our own Y pipe outta 3inch piping that we have. Problem is, its a bit hard to figure out how its supposed to be designed. Also my car is lowered, so I don't know how much of an issue ground clearance would be if we made one. Ok so heres the question. I saw on the sticky that I can buy the hedman Y pipe, and cut it at the y? What part of the Y pipe is that exactly, cause wouldn't that mean that im defeating the purpose of even buying the Y-pipe?

Also (mentioned above) has anyone done a 3 inch system from header back, and had enough clearance with a lowered car?

my car is a 91 RS lowered I THINK 2 inches, maybe a bit more.....Maybe you can guage by the pic in my sig??
