is that the american thunder cat back, right? i would say cut the pipes after the bends and then get exhaust tips from anywhere. maybe something like these then twist the muffler and tips until they are straight.

Actually i really dont know what kind of exhaust that is but it would be much easier if it just came straight out. But i guess i'll be best off by taking it to an exhaust shop
It looks like stock exhaust to me. It's non mandrel bent and the flowmsters americal thunder system has dual slash cut polished stainless steel tips that come straight out like you want. IMO, it's the best looking and sounding system out there.

i just notice that the pipes don't look like they're mandrel bent. but a guy at my work got the american thunder cat back on his 94 Z28 and it looks the exact same as the one his the pic

You need to angle those tail pipes down a little bit and cut the ends off of them. Then you can attach a new tip that will stick straight out. If they are wleded onto the muffler you will have to have them cut off and re-welded. I do not think that is the flowmaster system. That muffler looks too thin and those pipes are definately not madrel bent. They also aren't the exiting diamter that your average cat-back comes with. Looks like a stock replacement to me.

that's the only thing i don't like about my dynomax. the pipes bend down like the stock ones do. i'd rather have them straight back, but it's not that big of a deal to me. i just threw on some cheap tips from Autozone and it looks good enough to me.

deff. not flowmaster. flowmaster doesnt have the bead where the ends are welded on.
