4th gen tip question

Just wondering how wide the fourth gen lt1 tips are. I like the 4 pipes like the c5 (i think) the 4 that exit in the center. well what about 4 lt1 tips since they look better on out cars than the round ones. 4 lt1 tips centered.... just an idea..

4 tips would look out of place in my opinion. Plus you would have to do some serious fab work to create 4 exhuast pipes to house them. An 4th gen Z28 tip is about 4" wide or so. Mine is not here right now so I cannot measure. RK sport makes a quad exhaust for 4th gens and you may want to look at that.

The stock Z28 rectangle tips are about 8-9" wide (mine are not onhand either). That would put the configuration anywhere from 32" to 36" wide plus, spacing between the tips.
Also, the tips are roughly 10" in depth and only taper to one side (there is no right and left with OEM tips)
Things to consider....

Oh wow I didn't realize they were that wide. I geuss I should go out and measure mine sometime. But you are right about no left and right. I never quit got that. I geuss the placement of the tail pipes kinda made it have to work that way.

i went into a muffler shop today and they are 8 inches. The inlets were in the center instead of the side like you were talking about. they arent stock but look identical. so that would set me 32 inches with no spacing with approximately 1/2 to an inch between them. would set me at 36? the rear bumper cover is what? approxaimately 60 inches i guess at the bottom after it tapers in? so about 12 inches or so from the ends of the bumper cover anyone have a picture of the rear section that they could photoshop one? maybe a picture can express what i cant explain.
