Hedamn or Hooker LT's

Ive searched but havent found too much on this. Are hooker headers really worth the extra $300 compaired to the hookers. I found a set of headmans on e-bay coated inside and out for $268 and i think thats a good deal. Im putting in a 327 that will eventually be running boost or nitrous. I would like to eventually see 550 rwhp. What do you guys think, Im trying to make a list of parts i need before i sent the block out to be bored/honed.
Thanks

i don't see anything about you trans listed
Hedman will not fit a 5 spd and the Hooker super comps Will
Hedmans are 1 5/8 and Hookers are 1 3/4 primary's

Car: projects.......
I'm running the Headman's and I like them. W/ a factory k-member they seem to require a little more cutting than the Hookers, but they are tucked up closer to the car, giving a lowered car like mine more ground clearance. A friend of mine is running the Hookers in his 88Z28. His went in a little easier, but they hang lower than mine. I personally don't see the difference in $, but once you get a really bad mouse motor, the bigger tubes may be needed. I'm running the Headmans w/ a manual, but I'm running a mechanical clutch(Z-bar style) and I stood my trans up square. The Headman collector would probably hit the slave cylinder if factory. -

- too each his own. I'll stick w/ my Headmans. Difference in money, to little difference(if any) in power, and loss of ground clearance...I just don't see it.

later, justin...
