Did you put the braces back on?

I want to get rid of the braces for the serpentine setup that attach to the exhaust manifolds. I just think it's one less thing to clutter the engine compartment up with. I can't see deleting them causing any problems, but has anyone had any problems doing this?

Well I removed mine when I installed my headers and I probably should have left one on. I say this because at the time I didn't have the top brace that bolts into the edelbrock manifold either, because I was to lazy to dril and tap it at the time. Anywhoo, when I last drove the car I heard this horredous rattle in the front of the car. I later found out that the top accesoy bracket bolt sheared off into the head. An easy out fixed the problem and I replaced it with a better bolt. I also drilled and tapped the intake brace as well. I shouldn't have any problems now. So what I am getting at is this. If you only remove the exhaust brackets and not the intake as well you should not have any problems.
