headers

hey, hows it going, does anyone know what would be the best, least expensive set of long tube headers. i was told to get shorties because ground clearance, but in my town the roads are mostly flat, and i would much rather go with long tubes. thanks

if you go with long tube headers its going to be a head ache all the way around for the most part from what ive read and heard if it were me id go with a nice set of shorty headers but thats my opinoin ...

Theres a sticky at the top of the forum that outlines all the options. Take a look there.

As long as you have a competent exhaust shop the longtubes are not that bad. The worst part about my headman LT's was having to clearance the drivers side A-arm mount they both slipped in from the bottom and the install was a lot easier than I expected.

Hedmans black-painted long tubes are about $110 I think. Similar shorties are about the same.
