i am missing all the emissions tubes that hook up to the cat, the air pump and the air tubes on my headers, all that crap that runs behind the motor under the distributor. my friend (former gm mechanic) is convinced that my car will not pass emissions without it. however, we went to a gm dealership, and they said that no one makes any of those parts anymore. what can i do if i can't find these parts anywhere? as soon as ct opens up emissions again, the car will have to go through.

 

There's not shortage of them in boneyards. It's a nasty job to remove all the stuff. You might need to replace the headers.
