Hedman or Hooker LTs with t-56?
Well, my engine is almost back together, but I'm unsure on header options. The engine combo is in the 400-450hp range, though I would like to leave room for improvement.
My big concern is my t-56 and spohn cross-member. Currently have the stock springs and ride height.
I have narrowed it down to the hedman LTs, Hooker LTs, or if all else fails, Hooker 2055's.
Would the 1 5/8" primaries on the hedman LTs be too small? Also, the LTs seem to be a pita, but which ones have the least problems with the t-56?
I have read the links and have done a search, but none have really compared the two LT options with a t-56. I know I will need a ministarter, and notch a couple of places, and possibly even need to dent a primary or two. Just need opinions on which would be best for the combo. Thank you

I have hooker long tubes, and a T56. Unfortuneately I had to give up my spohn crossmember. It wouldnt clear. The headers fit, but I would have had to notch the fram to run exhaust. I ran it around w/ open headers and the spohn crossmember when I took it to get the custom one made(that was a blast).
I dont have experience w/ the hedmans, but I imagine you will have similar problems. The headers sit higher so you would have less clearance problems w/ the headers themselves most likely, but I dont know that you could keep the rest of the exhaust up that high anyway(especially w/ the spohn crossmember).
