Exaust pipe help..:)

My exhaust is not dual exhaust but after the muffler it splits off in eaither direction so there are 2 pipes at the end...everyones exhaust is like this...for the most part anyway. what i am looking to do to my 84 z28 and then on my 95 z28 is take the end of the exhaust and turn each pipe into 2 more...so it looks like 2 pipes on one side and 2 on the other...I couldnt find a 3rd gen with the exhausts so here is a fourth gen. but i want same thing on my 3rd gen....could i just chop off the end of the exhaust and put tips on like that or do i have to redo whole exhaust??

Thnks
Matt
