O2 Sensor Stuck

Ive been trying to get the 91rs to pass the Emissions test and Ive replaced everything except cat and o2 so cheapest first.
And i knew it was going to be froze in there cause of the exhaust heat. And after pretty much destroying it (only the hex, Nut) remains in the Ypipe. I think It needs to heated before removal.
Now I have to drive 5-7miles to my shop to lift it and get torch on it. CAN i drive it for short distance will it run ok.
thanks
Brian

You can run without the 02 sensor but your car will act funny once it goes into closed loop. If you are lucky, pick a cool time of the day when you haven't run your car. Fire it up and head to the shop. You may make it there in open loop when the car doesn't rly on the 02. Did you try PB blaster? That stuff works great on helping break up rust seals.

You're going to drive to the shop to get it heated up with a torch? Your exhaust will be plenty hot to pull it off after running the car for a minute. Make sure you use anti seize on the new sensor.

I would still try some PB blaster. It is tons better than WD40 and actually breaks up the rust instead of just lubricating it. Did you try to unbolt it with the car being hot?
