header hitting frame
i installed a set of Flowtech headers on my engine before dropping it into my firebird. they're summit part #BIG-11102.
the passanger side is hitting my frame (flange only, but the rest is pretty damn close at about 1/4 inch)
I also got the flowtech Y pipe and that also seems to be of a bad clearance. it hits the floor when connected (i matched it up) to the header.
the add says it's for a firebird and a 400 SBC.. but i can't see this working without bending the collector away from my frame and taking the Y pipe and making an extention for the passanger side pipe so it can go lower.
has anybody else ever installed these headers and Y pipe and run into any of those problems?
i've got pictures if they need to be shown, just ask but it's soo tight back there it dosn't show well.

I have those headers and y-pipe. Quality aside they are a great fit. I bet you have worn motor mounts. Changing them should allow everything to line up like it should.
