I bought an edelbrock catback a while ago for the LG4 cars and the pipe necks down to 2.5 after the converter and i was wondering if someone makes a 3inch intermediate pipe that i can get to put on in place of this or if any cars came factory with 3 inch intermediate pipe, my brother told me he used to work at autozone that certain camaro's came with 3inch but i need to get at least a 1 foot ish after the converter. so if anyone knows anything thatll help please let me know.

 

That sucks that the catback came like that. Plenty of places make them.... I had my local exhaust shop order mine, but it wasn't mandrel bent Try mufflex... they make one.

 

shoulda got the one made for tpi cars. The entire system is 3 inch. If it's not too late you could try sending it back for the right one.

 

iv already had it for like 7-8 months now, so its past the time, but i guess my best chances are if someone has an exhaust system thats bad exept the pipes i need.

 

Some companies sell their Intermediate pipes seperate from their mufflers. DynoMax is the brand that comes to mind.

WLK-44063 is the part Number for the Intermediate pipe from Summit, and WLK-43248 is the part number for the over axel pipe. Together they are over 120 bucks, but they are mandrel bent 3 in

No problem, the first part is $84 from Summit.

 

Ill sell you my entire 3" inter. pipe for $60 plus shiping. its a 3 piece Mufflex setup. I had them make it in 3 piece so it was easier t hook up over the rearend. It is in good to great shape.

is the rest of the system any good? if its not and you are only looking to get rid of the first section off the cat let me know what the price on just that is, because thats actually the only peice i need, but if it comes down to it my friend is looking for an exhaust for his camaro i might just put my intermediate pipe on his car and use your pipes and put your muffler and tail pipes on his....if you know what i mean......let me know either way.
