The SLP 1 3/4" header gaskets have a raised ridge around the port openings on one face of the gasket. Does the raised ridge face the header flange or heads?
My header install kit did not come with instructions and the gaskets have no markings on them.
Please help, thanks in advance

 

Faced mine towards the header and worked fine.

 

same way i did mine, seems to work fine.
