smokes...

when i start the car 89 5.0TBI , greyish blue smoke comes out for a bit a friend told me it may just be because i need a new air filter because my air filter is shot. Getting a K&N soon

Happens to almost every small block Chevy over time when using petroleum based oil.

Mine does it too, and I only have 78k miles on mine. I'm holding off bothering to fix 'em 'cuz I'm still thinking about dropping a built 355ci into her next spring.
