need advice... help me

Ok. As you may know i'm looking at an LT1 to put in my 91 RS...
I talked to the guys son again and he said that it smokes...
He told me that his dad said he thinks it might be the valves...
Again, he only wants 200 dollars for the block, heads, oil pan & pump, cam, pistons and all that includes...
does this sound reasonable???
is just the block worth that, say if i had to buy new heads???
i've also been told that its been bored 30 over...
so, would you go for it? or what?
thanks guys, I value your opinions....

if you can grab a running LT1 for $200, jump on it. Even if it smokes, it's worth the rebuild. Then just set your tbi on top.

$200 isn't bad. If it hadn't been bored I would say that it was totally worth it. I don't know if I would buy it or not...Sorry, don't guess I'm much help.
