Side exit; revisited

Okay, I saved this picture awhile ago and don't have any info on it... I've always thought this was a cool idea. If this was possible on street car I'd like to try it on my 91 integrating it more into my ground effects... Any ideas? Or anyone have any more pictures?

it's going to be difficult to get it more into the gfx than that guy has already done. after that you will need to modify the rocker panel, and on a street car, it may not be justifyable.

On a street car wouldn't it be easier to use the Rectangular exhaust ends that come on the 93+ Z28s?

I'm sure it would be easier but it wouldn't get the same effect of flush exhaust. I've been messing around with fiber glass and have made another set of rocker panel effects that stick a bit lower than stock that I can take a chunk out but I'm not sure how this setup is ran. Just curious if anyone knows if it in deed was a chopped up floorboard or not.

My definition of street car is very loose. I'm young and willing to deal with much of the inconveniences and/or lack of amenities for a look and performance I like.

How about doing a side exit behind the rear wheels? All crossflow mufflers have their exits pointing towards the side of the car anyways, maybe you could cut a hole in the GFX behind the rear wheels and have the exhaust right there.
