Cutout vs Muffler

i personally would like to be quiet sometimes... after having my exhaust for 2 years i think its a little obnoxious when i come home late at night. so, if i were to do it again, i'd probably get a quiet cat back or leave the stock one in place, while getting an electric cutout.
