How to clean and pollish my tips?
Alright I have the SLP 2otl cat-back on my car and the tips are "tarnished" so to speak. I'm assuming I can remove this with sandpaper or a drill with a wheel on the end. I understand how to pollish, but how do I keep the finish? Is there any compound I need treat it with, or should it stay shiny?

You do not need sandpaper or a wheel. Go to autozone and get some aluminum polish. Apply firmly and then buff off. After the tarnish is gone, apply a coat of wax. The should work for a while.

Hmmmm...sounds like a plan. I'll try it tomorrow. I was considering waxing it after whatever I did but didn't know how that would work. What kind of wax, just regular car wax??

Yea that would be fine. It will hold the tarnish off for a while, but sooner or later you are going to have to use the aluminum polish again.

Hmm okay, is that really all there is to do to stainless steel? I mean, can I get them anodized or chrome-plated or something? I'm pretty sure I can't chrome it seeing as its stainless steel, but I really don't know much about stainless steel to be honest. Is it an aluminum alloy of some sort? If so, I would think I could get it anodized, no?

With the SLP Tips all you need to do is remove the as rolled finish by any method mentioned (easier one) and they will remain bright with just minor wax touch ups.
