ok guys i was just wondering how some of you are able to get away without running air tubes and cats and all the other stuff because i would like to get rid of all those hoses covering my block and making my engine look like crap because i wanted to pull my engine and spray it and make it look nice but its kind of hard when u have 3,000 hoses covering you block

 

There is no visual inspection here in TN. All they do is put a mirror under the car to see if you have a cat. Some(including me) have gutted cats and still pass. It is only the tailpipe probe sniffer test at idle, no big deal. The hood stays closed.
