my new exhaust headers back!

got it finally!

hooker 2460's and a y-pipe made by my dad and me. i am really excited. the y-pipe and rest of the exhaust will be going in tomorrow and i will get more pics up then, but for now, check out these headers! i am thoroughly pleased!

tell me what ya think so far. it took me all of 3 hours to take the old off and put these headers on. it will probably take most of the day tomorrow to fab up the y-pipe though.

yeah, i got the new y-pipe fabbed up. i used flex tubing though cause the 90* i bought really weren't working out. it kinda sucks cause i was really looking for more of a permanant fix, but the cops where breathing down my neck to quite the car and the clock was ticking before i had to drive the car to work. but, i do have a basic shape that i hope to take to somewhere close by that has a mandrel bender.

anyhow, here's a pic of the y-pipe that we fabbed up for the time being. i have since painted it with black exhaust paint and it's really almost invisible.

exhaust it self consists of a free 2 1/2" dynomax. i am replacing that with a 3" flowmaster force II catback when i get the cash.

alot of why i did the things i did was cause of the income i have right now. it took about 2 months for me to save up the spare cash to get those headers...i love them though.
