a good set up for a 3.1 V6
just to let you know iv had a new exhaust system fitted, my car is a 92 3.1 V6 bird, the system started off with factory headers, factory Y pipe (no more cat
) then 2.5" mild steel back and over the axel in to a flowmaster (not sure what series) then out with 2X 3" stainless slash cuts. i found this to sound nice on idle and nice up to around 2500 rpm but anything over that sounded crap. since then i added a glasspack resonator in the position the cat used to be and it sounds very nice indeed ( not so loud anymore), also has alot more power especialy over 4000 rpm.
