this is kind of stupid, but anyone know of anyway to join two pieces of 3" exhaust pipe that were cut apart without welding? It only needs to be temporary... i've come up with some ideas, i was just wondering if anyone knew of anything I didn't think of. thanks.

Try a 3" band clamp. You can get them from Jegs or some local independent auto parts stores. They look nice too.

They also sell 3" slip joints with flared ends that will work. Of course you'll still need 2 clamps, but it'll work.
