true dual 2.5"
hi i recently bought my 1990 305tbi camaro and i was wondering what size tubing i should use for duals, i do planning on upgrading things such as heads and a cam. I was also wondering what a LOUD muffler was that sounds good as well, what about the moroso spiral, or the flow 40? I was alos wondering if i should get shortie headers or re headers and if it makes any difference. And some good examples of nice headers would be nice. thanks

I was wondering about the 2.5 inch true duals too, but in stock routing....
Could i just go to hooker and buy two 2.5 inch mandral bent midpipes (cat to muffler) and run them side by side and just fab mounts? and then just have one muffler per pipe with custome pipes from the mid to the muffler? and then have custom pipes made from the collecters to the mid? just curious, it looks like it would fit and would go right next to each other

"six 180 degree mandrel bends (to be cut to desired length by the installer"
I just wanted to know if i could buy two pipes that are made for 2.5 single exhaust and run them sideby side and fab mounting and just the pipes from mufflers to the pipe and collectors to the pipes.. so i dont have to have an exhaust specialist do all the work (cutting and welding). I just figured it would be cheaper and relatively as good. Maybe i am wrong.. how much did just your pipes cost?
