new muffler suggestions please....

Im thinking of throwing my dynomax super turbo over a cliff..lol. It flows good, just not enough sound, even with the cats off. I dont have a huge motor, but would like a muffler to accent my ZZ4 cam. I was thinking of a Flowmaster 40series or a Dynomax ultra flo.....but NOT a crossflow. Would I need a center inlet/offset outlet or what? I know the Force II catback uses a similar 50series muffler....but Im not sure what inlet/oulet I need. Thanks in advance.......

well if you plan on using you existing piping I would get the inlet and outlet in the same configuration that it is now so you if is easy for you or the shop you have install it. borla is more money but I would look into them as I think they sound better but that is just my personal opinion of course.

i ditched my old flowmaster recently and had a 3" centerpipe and magnaflow muffler installed. not sure what the part # is, but its long and not as wide as the flowmaster. it is not as loud at idle but when u give it gas u definitely hear it! and when u go WOT...

also its supposed to flow a lot better than the flows. so far everyone i know likes the sound better now than before. i recommend magnaflow.

I put Hooker Aerochambers on anything and everything. For the price, performance, and sound I dont think they can be beat... Thats just my biased opinion though

Spin tech! Great sound and fits very good. Flow is great. I also like SLP but probably too quite for you.

ressurection post.

Spintech is junk. Had a car on the dyno a couple weeks ago with the spintech setup and when we opened the cutout it gained 60HP. And I thought flowmasters were sorry

I've got the magnaflow muffler on my car now with the Corsa tips. Looks and sounds awesome! Had the whole Corsa catback, but the mufflers have a tendency to fall apart inside and make a horendous buzzing sound.....which mine did. Shouldn't happen with a $700 catback
