questions to those who own electric cutouts
I am very strongly thinking about getting an electic cutout, and I've got a couple of questions to have answered by those who've had 'em for a while.
First off, I was wondering how long you've had it on your car, and if you've had any trouble with it.
Secondly, how often do you use it? do they perform fine over time or do they end up showing signs of wear and tear?
Lastly, I'd like to know which one you have, and why you chose it. Thanks.

I installed qicktime performance electric cut out 7 months ago.
I had to get a smaller cat so I would have enough room to put the cut out. I had trouble with the motor that power the valve, it came damage ( dammmm ups), my car mec actually replace it with a little RC car motor that actually close/open the valve in less than 1/2 second, so i kind of lost the luxary of having the valve half open.
BUT LETS face it, I usaully have it open all the time,
I just close it for emission ( ah ah ah ) and on the highway. I have a 92 rs with a 305tbi and just a perforance ship on it form tbchips. I didnt have any major problem with the valve and I like it because I am the loudest car around.
When I drive to school in the morning everybody still in bed knows that I m leaving....!
Its really the best thing to get because there so many options on mufflers, cats, etc... I kept it simple but still I have best of both world. I have the swithc installed under the armrest.
You have any question or want some sound clip, email me at cedric85745@yahoo.com
