SpinTech sells some pretty nice ones, was just wondering if anyone has used them. Saw a car at the Power Tour that had them and it sounded mean as hell.

I was thinking about running boom tubes with oval tubing when I redo my exhaust. But..........if you've seen the price tag on these items, you'd understand why I'm still saving up for it

Oh yeah, I've definitely seen the price tag, but if you've heard it in person, its definitely worth the price. I got to thinking about it and I'm pretty sure it would be pretty easy to run duals with a boomtube on each side, or even duals going into a single, just don't know if anyone else has done it

If anyone has done it, they haven't posted it. And yes, I have heard them in person

I think I saw that one too, but no what I saw was a 90's Monte Carlo done up with widened fenders, huge NASCAR spoiler, NASCAR front facia, and did 208 mph with a mild LT1 and rear wheel drive conversion.

I know the guy w/ the Black 97 SS. He has a 383 LT motor in there w/ AFR 220 LT4 heads and intake, Hooker LTs, X-pipe into the boom tubes. He has all the works. Viper internal t56, 9" etc.

That car is really done up nice.

Yeah, thanks! I've seen all the stuff Dr. Gas has. Just wanted to see if anyone here already tried a setup. I've seen a short vid of a black 4th gen camaro on a dyno with a boomtube recently....sounded pretty awesome at WOT.

ace, Andris Skulte (Skulte Performance) is running a boom tube. I don't know if he has sound clips but he says it sounds bad *ss and the looks are killer (in my opinion).

i'm actually going to do the boom tubes on my car. i plan on buying two single inlet 1.5" and im going with the X-scream x-pipe and running oval tubing for clearance since the car has 1" lower springs. i also found a website that sells used boom tubes off the cup cars for like half the cost, but i want all new stuff but i'll hand out the website anyways.

Hey guys - I picked up my boomtubes from Muscle Motorparts the last time I was down in Charlotte. That place is a goldmine!

I posted the build with pics here: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/exha...st-plenty.html

Went to the dyno on Monday night, and got some good video (should be posted tonight, to the power adder board). Later!
