SLP y pipe fitment issues!!!!
SLP y pipe fitment issues!!!!
Hi,
Anyone here running the SLP y pipe w/ 1-3/4" headers?
I am having an issue with the y pipe! It does not seem
to "seal up" to the headers well at all! I am using poly
motor mounts and using the donuts that SLP supplies.
I am now realizing that the poly motor mounts and the
cheesy exhaust donuts are NOT helping me with the
exhaust leaks! It looks to be that the donuts are too
thin and need to be wider to mate better. Anyone use
different dounts? If so, what brand, part number, etc.
Any help appreciated! Thanks.

Sorry man, I used the ones that SLP shipped with mine and had no problems what so ever. You might want to do a search for the dounut and Napa. Someone once said that Napa carried the correct version if you needed it. Good luck.
