Buying headers is becoming a head ache. Currently I have an order in with ACS. $596 with headers and y-pipe ceramic coated. I've had the order in for 2 months and no headers yet. Anyway I'm planning to cancel my order and go with jet hot. Has anyone bought these headers from jet hot? If so what did they charge. I've heard prices anywhere from 510 - 550. When I called they said $666. Headers and y-pipe coated with Sterling ceramic. I mentioned thirdgen.org membership and that only knocked 20 bucks off for a total of $648. Does this sound right? I figured it would be under 600.

 

ACS is having problems. I would call jet hot. I hear that TGO members get a really good discount (19 to 15% if I recall). You should be able to get a set of 2055's to your door in a week for $550 or less.

 

Was your quote of $666 for the headers and y-pipe Sterling ceramic coated?

I was quoted $550 about 2 years ago from jet hot. I bet prices have since changed but I bet it is around there. Just mention that you are a member of www.thirdgen.org and see what they say. Tell them that you were refered by TGO and they should give you a disscount.

 

The $646 price I was quoated was sterling coating for both headers and y-pipe and that included the discount for thirdgen.org which was only 20 dollars. ACS said that the headers were on back order from hooker but Jet Hot is able to get them. So who knows whats going on there. Hopefully I can get my money back.

I just emailed them, told them I was a member of thirdgen.org and was interested in a quote.

 

When I ordered mine a couple of years ago, I called a couple of times, and got diffrent quotes. , Then Another member local descided he wanted some also, we then called to order 2 pairs, and bargined with them. Ended up get them for under $500 each after shipping!

 

they are on back order at jet hot cause i ordered mine about a week ago,but they said it will be the following week at my house. so i think jet hot is better than acs.

 

When I ordered mine from Jet Hot about two years ago, I got them for $520 delivered to my door. I'm certain the prices have changed though, thats just the way things work.

 

Last year i payed 525$ for headers and y pipe coated inside and out and delivered

 

this is what i was quoted few weeks ago from jet hot for coating a set of hooker 2055's and y pipe and cutting and welding the tubes closed

i called jet-hot a week ago for coated 2055s its 650 shipped to ur door. and another 30 for taking the AIR tubes off. that is with the thirdgen.org discount
