Am i getting a good deal ?

Went down to the local muffler shop owner quoted me

$320 installed
for a flow master muffler
and 2 3 1/2 stainless tips
with 2 year warranty

Does that sounds like a fair deal ?

if an exhaust shop told me that, i would report them to the BAR. flowmaster 80 series run $80 installed, and the piping is $3 dollars or so per foot, and it will probably be 2 feet per side so $12 for the pipes and $20-$30 each for the tips. so your average price would be $150

If that is just to install a muffler and tips that is a rip off.

And it may not be 3" Manrel bent but the stock crimp pipe on the small side. No Deal on that install.
