Supercharged with 450HP....How Big Of Exhaust

how big of exhaust do I need...would 3.5 inch be sufficiant?? or can i get away with 3inch?? if i need a 3.5 inch, who makes a good 3.5 inch muffler???

3inch is perfect. 4inch is for show, 3inch with flowmaster turbo mufflers.

They sound like crap for a few thousand miles, but they sound good after break in.

I think with forced induction you want the biggest exhaust you can fit on there, 1 3/4 headers, dual 3" at least that's what I've read. If your talking 3" duals you'll be fine, 450hp is at the outer limits for single 3" exhaust though and I really think LT's and dual 3" is the way to go.

alright....i was goign with LT no matter what...but i was referring to single 3", but maybe I will go with dual 3" instead....That would make for a nice big exhaust incase I go upgrading in the future....also there might be a change in plans, i might be only putting out like 300rear wheel HP, so like 360 to the crank....is it possible to have too big of an exhaust??? or will there be sufficient backpressure with dual 3" and 300RWHP???
