I was hoping for some feedback on your guys' views on which exhaust system would be best. Quality, sound, power; just leave your comments.
SLP Loud Mouth exhaust system
Hooker Super Competition Series
Flowmaster 40 Series system
or any other brand

Car: 82 Berlinetta/57 Bel Air
Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Quality: All very similar.
Sound: Personal taste. Some hate the sound of Flows, others think it's great.
Power: On a stock LO3, no differences.
You should probably include Dynomax in your list. And, since this is a request for opinions, there are probably others that people will bring up.
A suggestion: Before spending any money on a cat-back system, consider the future. You'd do yourself a favor to get a system for the '86-'90 TPI single-cat application, as it will be 3" from inlet to muffler, rather than the 2-1/4" of your stock system (even if it has a 3" intermediate pipe, it will start off as 2-1/4"). If you retain the cat, get one for the same application as the cat-back, modify your y-pipe if necessary to fit the cat inlet. Then, if you go with headers in the future, you'll be all set.

five7 nailed it on the head. I would not bother with the loudmouth for now. It will sound like poo with only 170 ponies on tap not to mention the fab work required to make it fit. I would look at the dynomax, hooker areochamber, banks, and random tech cat backs. They off the best quality/performance.
