Do I have an exhaust leak?

Recently I replaced my entire exhaust system - headers to muffler.

Often when I get in my car I smell s fairly strong (and kinda 'sweet') odor. It doesn't smell exactly like normal exhaust fumes, and smells different than when I was running open headers.

It smells faintly similar to gasoline. I replaced the fuel filter, and maybe I didn't tighten it up all the way? Or does this seem more like an exhaust leak? I never retightened the headers after installing them (I just used the stage 8 locking header bolts).

Hmm, sounds like your burning coolant.

It could just be the newness burning off. On mine I cant remember it being sweet, but remember it had a pleasant smell

sweet is usually antifreeze burning....see if there is white smoke coming out of your exhaust

If I didn't mention it earlier... this smell is from within my car, not outside of it
