How good does this sound?

running 3inch back from high flow cat converter over the axle into two 2.5" inch dynomax bullets, either 16inch or 23inch or whatever sizes available, so it has dual exits. sorta like the GMMG system:

but with bullets. how loud would that be? i think it should sound great and may do it soon as i am tired of the flowmaster i have now.

Why 3" Bullets? Wouldn't be necessary or helpful from a flow standpoint, and would probably not sound as good as 2-1/2", for instance.

Why bother with all the cross-flowing stuff, stuffed by the rear axle? Just put them in as part of the final tailpipes.

If you're tired of the Flowmaster now, you'll probably be outright narcoleptic with Bullets as you propose.

well your right, i ment to say 2.5" after the axle. not 3inch all the way back.

but anyway, have you seen willie's true dual setup?? i want to run that some day, so i figure i can get the back half section done and instead of using those expensive chambered mufflers, i will use either spiral pros or bullets.

two bullets on that system and a cat should keep it quiet but louder than my 80 series. the 80 series isnt all that loud. i think my cat has something to do with that so i will replace that or take it off first to see if the sound changes. if i like the new sound, then i will hold off on this exhaust idea.

and bullets will flow a ton more than that 80 series crossflow muffler.

i gotta take a good look under the car to see how much room there is for that type of setup but not sure how that will work. wouldnt the tailpipes be too close to the muffler and make it sound too bassey?

had that done before for a day. low rpms were really deep and way too loud for a street car. cool for a while but just didnt have the tone i wanted.
