Dual cat y pipe on a single cat camaro? Help

I got a set of slp headers with their dual cat y pipe, and was wondering if this will work on a 305 tbi with a single cat? Any pictures of cars with dual cats would be great.

Two choices:

1) Convert to dual cats.

2) Use a "Y" like the Flowmaster part on the dual down-pipes, connecting to a single cat.

I'll try to get some pics of my dual converters with the flowmaster y-pipe. unfortunately there's like 6 inches of snow on the ground right now. can't get under car.
