punched a hole in the cat

so i was backing off the hoist at work. the ramp to drive up onto the hoist is raised like a half inch off the hoist(its 30 years old) and i was backing up and clunk! the car wont go backwards...turns out i punched a ****in hole in a 1 month old cat. luckily i dont haveto pass emmisions for another year but it was brand new! why does my exhaust hang so low, its 3" diameter and u can see it when ur looking at the car on the passenger side, it sucks *** i cant go anywhere without scrapin. and the cars not even lowered.

If your exhaust is hanging so low that you can see it the problem is it was installed wrong. you should not see anything hanging.

Well I have 87 IROC-Z with 1 3/4 SLP Headers, 3" SLP Catback exhaust, 3" in/out Cat with Spohn Tube SFC installed and NOTHING is visible under the car when viewed from any angle. So your statement is incorrect and the installation on your car is screwed up.
