I went searching thru all the threads about true duals and all the cars i saw pictures of were automatics. Does anyone have pictures with a 5speed and true duals? Also who has lowered there car and ran duals? Im about to do duals on my car so i wanted to get some ideas. My car has shorty headers if yall can show me pics with shorties. Im going to be doing 3 inch true duals with 2 chamber flows dumped before the rear axle. My car has the dropzone springs the front of the car sits kind of low but i still have 4 or 5 inches of clearence underneath my 3 inch Y pipe and the rear where the mufflers will be i will have a few more inches of clearence. I know people are going to is going to scrape and it doesnt bother me if it scrapes here and there or if i have to be cautious of where i drive since the car rarely gets driven maybe only a couple of thousand miles a year if that.

 

I measured the lowest spot of the Y Pipe and its got 3 inches of clearence from the ground. And its never scraped except on big speed bumps. I figured if i ran the pipe down the tranny tunnel i will be ok.

 

If you want to meet up some time, You can look at the true duals on mine. Might get a idea or 2.

 

Well i have tried to get u to come to some of the GTG's. Theres one tonight in Plano.

 

I've tried to come out to the GTG's, but have had to much going on. New house, wife, wife laying out projects for me, working nights, etc,etc,etc.

I will make one some day. Until then, if you want to see my set-up, lets hook up on the weekend sometime.

 

Thats cool i understand if the weather is nice this weekend i will be around the house working on my bird if u wanted to stop by or if i get things done in a reasonable time i could swing out that way.
