Car: '88 Red Trans Am w/ T-tops

Engine: 305 TPI

Transmission: T-5

Exhaust Tip Sizes

My car has stock exhaust exept for the muffler and Cat and i want to put some Chromed tips on it but i think 3" tips look too big on our cars. The tips stock are 2 1/4 i think right? Does anyone make like a 2 3/4 tip?

I say go with 3 inch.Big pipes look awesome coming out the back.

I would call some local exhaust shops and see what hey have. Also, check out jegs, thunderracing, and summit. They have gobs of tips to choose from of all shapes and sizes. Borla tips are 3" but they have the webbing in them which visually reduces the size. I agree with you that dual 3" tips looks too large.
