C5 Mufflers on Third Gen Camaro

I did a search and didn't find anything on this. I am doing a 3" X-Pipe system all the way back over the axle and out the rear, I'm going to try to use the mufflers from a C5 Corvette to finish it off. I already have everything I need.

Good luck! The inlet and outlet are on the same side. And they will not fit like GM installed them on the Vettes.

Are you going to exit it in the center like on C5's? I think it will look awesome if you can get some late 90's Z28 tips the rectangle ones and recess them into the rear valance. Like SLP Quad setup.

Yeah I'm going to try to get them to exit in the center, I don't know if I'll recess them in to the valence, that's another project all by itself. I just want to concentrate on getting the exhaust done. Still waiting for some parts.

Why would u want C5 mufflers there is nothing special about them except for the pipe routing.

That's right there is nothing special about them. I have true duals with Cherry Bombs right now and the "loud noise coolness factor" has worn off, I just a decent exhaust, with a decent tone, maybe even a little quiet, but It didn't matter what muffler I got, I got them on E-Bay for $10, that's why I got them. So I now I'm doing 3" true duals all the way back with C5 mufflers. It may not be special or cool or anything like that, but I don't know anybody else with that setup.
