Ok, i have been cracking my head open for the last like 5 months of what exhaust i want to put on her. I have a 3" flowmaster cat-back right now that was on the car when my dad bought it. I really like the flowmaster but a buddy of mine has the slp exhaust on his 97 30TH Z28 and it sounds really nice too. I just cant decide at all. I know i want to put a high flow cat on her and basically what im looking for with sound is a lil louder then it is now but not to to loud on the inside. I have a really nice stereo in her and like taken advantage of it. Any thoughts from anyone or sound clips?? Thanks everyone.

I have an SLP 2otl setup on my car as it is. I bought it because I liked it on my buddy's old '97 Z28 as well

It is not going to be louder than a Flowmaster. It will sound less raspy though. I like mine, but I think I'm going to be switching to either Hooker, or the stock muffler off my buddy's '99 SS this summer. I'm actually leaning towards teh stock exhaust if I can convince him to buy a cat back to replace it. I'm looking for something that's a bit quiter than my current setup, and I'm going to be getting headers very soon as well.

 

thanks for the help guys, i think im either going to go with a delta flow 40 series flowmaster, or american thunder. Keep the info coming...i like what i hear so far.

 

The SLP catback a very good sounding system with something different with the tailpipes.
