Cracked Muffler (SLP exhaust)
Ok guys, I was driving along the other day, and realized that whenever my engine rev'd past 2k, there was a crackling, strange noise. So, I went to look under the car, and found that my muffler was cracked open, about a 4 inch crack in the bottom of it. I must've went over a speedbump too fast or something.
Well, is this hurting either my car's performace, or reliability/economy?
Should I have the muffler repaired, or should I remove the catback altogether and straight pipe it? Performance/fuel economy losses/gains?
Currently it has no cats. N10 option though, both removed n welded pipes in.
