no cat with tbi fuel injection???

i know this is a stupid question but i really dont know that much about fuel injection. I just installed a set of hedmen shorty headers, and a 3 in flowmaster american thunder exaust with a 40 series muffler. i dont know wether or not to it would be safe for me to get rid of the cat and just straitpipe it since im going to continue using fuel injection on my trans am, didnt know if it will throw any codes, any suggestions?

Obviously you'll do what you want, but I'll try to give my advice...

Keep the catalytic converter, you can get a universal 3" catco cat from ebay for 50 shipped to your door, it comes with the AIR tube also. It's much easier to do it right, than it is to make a hack-up look factory.

You shouldnt set any codes though I dont think.
