hose? tubes?

I need something to connect my cat to the pipey dealie (EGR?) that is supposed to come down from the engine bay and connect to the cat. I have an aftermarket exhaust and so the whole little stock connector thiny is no longer good, I've been using heater hose temporarily but it melts shortly after i put it on. I was just wondering what other people use or if anyone had any ideas.

You can get a repair kit from most any parts store. It will have green rubber hose and some clamps in it.
