complete bolt on exhaust with headers
I am currently building my 86 Z28 and am installing a 330 hp carb. 350. I am looking for a bolt on exhaust system with shorty headers. I am an amatuer with this.
Are there any systems out there that I could buy without any of the modifications that I am reading about. I have read through alot of messages and can't find the answer.
Any help would be appreciated.

For headers, the best sets for 3rdgens come from Hooker (2055), Hedman (68470), and SLP (dont know the PN). All of them have Y-pipes available from their mfg's.
As for the rest of the exhaust... what do you want your car to sound like? Many companies make good catback sets for these cars, like Flowmaster, Hooker (my fav), SLP, Borla, etc... As far as the catback goes, it really just depends one how much you want to spend, and what you want your car to sound like.
Note - You will want to be looking for catbacks for a 350 TPI car. They use the 3" I-pipe, which is a MUST on any of the V8 cars, not just the 350. Do not get anything smaller than a 3" I-pipe.
