HOW HARD WOULD IT BE TO INSTALL EDELBROCK TES HEADERS AND AN EXHAUST CUTOUT IN A 1986 IROC Z. I ALREADY HAVE AN AMERICAN THUNDER CATBACK EXHAUST. ANY INPUT FROM PEOPLE THAT ALREADY INSTALLED THESE HEADERS IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

mine were really easy, i jsut put them on during my motor swap lol.... but i asked shiftycapone and he said that it's a 8 hour project when your doing it in a stock car with the motor in, because there is ALOT needed to be removed to install them. when you look at your engine, look at the manifolds and see what is on top of them/blocking them from being taken out because it will all have to be removed and re-installed. the y-pipe is ALOT easier with a friend helping btw. have fun and enjoy, they sound really nice on my car

yea mine were an all day thing to, but when your drinking it tends to slow progress down. after I pulled my a/c stuff off the firewall the next hardest thing to do was those locking tabs on the factory bolts.

I found with mine they have the air cleaner preheat pipe on the drivers side and it is death to my water temp gauge sender plug.

the plugs are a nightmare to change

they seem to rust excessively fast (mine were uncoated)

Y pipe fitment was very nice

but they are pretty noisy

power wise a great improvement over the stock LG-4 pre-cat exhaust and you definately feel the power difference.
