bullet to loud?

i have a flowmaster 80 series right now with dual 4" tips, and 3"inlet. its not very loud and i can deal with it being a little louder. i'm thinking of putting a 23" bullet right after the y, i have hedman longtubes with a 2.5 into 3 flowmaster y. how loud do you think it will be? i'm not woried about it being to loud to me, its just cops. i've never been bothered before around here but you never know.

also, do you think it will flow much better?

thanks.

That set-up would make your exhaust incredible loud. It would sound like open headers. You may want to at least run some length of pipe before you put the bullet on so that the sound doesn't empty right out from under your seat. Flow would be improved becuase you are reducing the restriction in the muffler and you took away some length of pipe.

I second that. I'm running true duals with the bullets, and IMO they are way too loud. I'm looking at other options to get things quieted down. The cops have never messed with me over it though. I just think you'll get annoyed by it after awhile.

From experience, just 2 nights ago, me and olblue86 removed the cat and replaced it with a Bullet. We couldn't hook the I-pipe back up, so, to get it home, we ran with the y-pipe right to the Bullet, dumped right under the passenger seat. I can honestly say, the bullet is 98.5% as loud as an open Y-pipe. If you do this, make sure to run it to the back of the car, as the interior drone is rediculous.
