Exhaust help from you guys...
Some of you know what I have, ZZ4 Crate motor with a better valvetrain, bigger cam, N20, etc. Anyways I think my exhaust could be restricting me...
My latest concern is with the exhaust, I have a nice set of mid range hooker headers with 2 1/4 pipe going back into a dual inlet dual outlet muffler. 2 pipes going into 1 muffler (flowmaster 80 series), no cats, no H or X pipe. None of it is mandrel bent...
I have been dubbed as the 11sec 6cyl sounding camaro...
my question is, could this be restricting my motor? Could I have lost HP waiting to be let out? Ive had this set up for a while and its all i have known, any help would be appreciated.
Yes I am a welder, but no I didnt make this exhaust system, if I did I would be embarassed by this... haha

That looks like bondo...
Anyhow, in my opinion the thing that would be holding you back is the 2 1/4" from the headers to the muffler. I would think a ZZ4, especially with a cam, would be dying with a small diameter pipe. Just my opinion though.

Wow interesting setup you have there. Your dual 2 1/4 flows just as well as single 3" so your next step up would be dual 2 1/2" or Single 3 1/2". Your above comment about running 11sec if you run 11sec quarters then I say go for Mufflex single 4" its the largest single you can buy or you can do something custom like dual 3".

headers that are 1 3/4", that go into a 3" collector would be a good start... and then go to a muffler shop and have them put in a 3.5" collector.. then find a high flow 3.5" cat, and get the mufflex 3.5" exhaust.
3" would probably work fine for your setup, but because you hit the nitrous, you'll want the exhaust to handle it when you step on the loud pedal.
