Loudest Spintech Muffler

like the title says, which is the loudest series muffler spintech has as far as street mufflers? also, how does spintech flow compared to the other brands? i know flowmaster flow like ****, i looked into the maximum flow by hooker and they flow really good, but i don't think they have the loudness i'm after....ultra flo's flow real well, still not loud enough tho....

I just received my Mufflex 3.50" catback with the Spintech muffler. Have not installed it yet. I can tell you that muffler is heavy. It weighs more than all the other parts combined in the kit. The weight of that thing will negate any performance increase from it.

With the Mufflex kit you have a choice of two mufflers. Spintech or Slowmaster. I'm into quiet and performance/flow. I picked the Spintech after talking to Mufflex. I will replace the Spintech with something else down the road. Allen

i'm gonna be running dual 2.5's dumped under neath, so i'm not looking for a split case...just single in/out style....i think the sportsman street and the pro street are the loudest ones they have...but which is the loudest between the 2? it says the sportman is the premiere muffler they offer, and then the pro street says its a direct descendate from the the pro shootout, and the pro shootout used to be the loudest if i'm not mistaken....

Your best bet would probably be to call Spintech for their advice. I would imagine they have heard a lot of cars with their mufflers. Allen

I'm running a single 3 inch in/out Pro Shootout that dumps before the axle. Sounds really good now compaired to the way it was before (which was still good) and is fairly loud. Used to have the muffler under the gas tank and exit at the bumper. Now it sits where the cat used to be and has about 4 feet of pipe after it. Got rid of the high pitched raspyness and sounds a lot more throaty. I'll try and get some video tomorrow of how it sounds. This is just a temp exhaust till I can get a dual exhaust figured out and new headers.

and also about the flowmasters, yea they dont' flow nearly as good as the competitors...especially the 80 series crossflow's, crossflow mufflers don't flow good to begin with anyways...i'm gonna be pushin about 400 horse, and i was going to go with a 3" catback, but i talked to a few companies and they said if i go catback i need a 3.5" like the mufflex....and a mufflex is expensive plus i have to make a custom y pipe to begin with so i would be looking at tons of money into an exhaust system....thats why i choose the duals dumped before the axle...but yea there is some flow charts out there comparing different mufflers, and flowmaster is far away from the top...
