Flowtech mufflers

Does anyone have any sound clips of the Flowtech Afterburner? or Terminator?
I'm trying to decide on exhaust, and this is the one brand i havnt really looked at much
At my friends house a few weeks ago, his brothers friend was leaving when I got there, and his car has flowtech warlocks (behind a 383), and it sounded NICE....
My engines a little milder (....a LITTLE, lol), though the cam is fairly big and i have long tube headers and no cats
just gonna be 3" back to a single in/single out muffler, and i want something fairly loud at idle and that sounds badass :-P
Any input?

mufflers

Wow that is a really tough question, there are so many varying opinions on mufflers you could write a book on here. Some like them quiet and some loud I am in the same boat right now with my Chevelle, I had to upgrade to 3 inch with Dr. Gas X-pipe and 3 inch tail pipes but I am still up in the air right now about muffler choice, I need some kind of shoot out muffler but none of them have the required offsets I need to mount this system in the stock mounting brackets without re-bending the pipes which I don't want to do since these are already mandrel bent pieces.
I can tell you an awsome muffler my father uses on his 69 GTO. It is a shoot out muffler called "Straightline" they are stainless and very short and compact, would fit under a 3rd gen easily, He has a 3.5 inch system with a Dr. Gas X-pipe and then 3 inch Torque Tech tail pipes after the mufflers,,,,,,,it is pretty loud but has a very unique sound that I cannot describe, like nothing else out there. But alot of the sound has to do with engine build, pipe sizes, and X-pipe verses H-pipe, that will all affect the sound quality. His car sounds like it is tuning twice the RPM that it really is, pretty cool if you ask me. I personally like them loud, No matter what the car, even my daily driver. Loud pipes save lives I always say Goodluck Larry.

i like loud too, but not loud to the point at which you get pulled over and harassed just for the exhaust

loud exhaust

It's funny you mention getting pulled over for loud exhaust. My buddy gets that once and a while, always the same cop too. and his car is much much quieter than my stuff.

I have some pretty loud cars and never get pulled over for that, it's always for other stupid stuff. I even drive around with open headers on occasion, all the way to the cruise inn and back around here which is about an 80 mile round trip for me. I have been pulled over with open headers but the funny thing is, the cop didn't pull me over for that, he was curious about my license plates. I run model year tags that don't require renewal stickers and that got his attention. nowadays all these fart pipes on the foreign cars are loud anyway, ever hear a harley davidson with straight pipes on it? They are all over the place around here, they never have noise issues with cops, so I am not that worried. Anyway, hope you find some info on those mufflers, could be usefull here. I still have not decided on the chevelle yet, I am in no hurry though. Larry.

then this kid in one of my classes was talking to me about all the times he's been pulled over for his exhaust (has like an 80's dodge pickup with a 318, highflow cat, and a flowmaster race muffler....its loud as hell, LOL)
